Job Description

Scope of Work: 

The Web Designer/Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining responsive and accessible web applications. This role involves working with both front-end and back-end technologies to create high-performance websites and web-based applications. The ideal candidate will have experience deploying enterprise applications on cloud platforms, ensuring compliance with federal web accessibility standards. 

Position Responsibilities: 

• This will be a remote role.
• Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using full-stack development technologies. 
• Implement and ensure compliance with federal web accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG). 
• Manage DevOps pipelines for Drupal and other web applications, ensuring smooth deployment and maintenance. 
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize web applications on cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS). 
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to web performance, security, and scalability. 
• Integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance application functionality. 
• Maintain documentation for system architecture, workflows, and best practices. 
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in web development and cloud computing. 

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in full-stack web development, including both front-end and back-end technologies. 
• Strong expertise in Drupal CMS development and deployment. 
• Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) for deploying and managing enterprise applications. 
• Proficiency in federal web accessibility standards (Section 508, WCAG). 
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Angular. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
