Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate Loan Applications: Assess loan packages, focusing on repayment ability, collateral, and personal credit profiles.
• Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work with Loan Officers and applicants to address questions and make counteroffers when necessary.
• Recommend Loan Approvals: Suggest loan approvals with detailed underwriting memos and supporting analysis.
• Communicate Decisions: Clearly explain loan approval terms or reasons for denial, offering advice on mitigating risks.
• Select Funding Programs: Determine the appropriate funding program based on eligibility criteria and approved terms.
• Verify Documentation: Ensure all necessary supporting documents are provided, verified, and maintained on file.
• Client-Focused Service: Partner with Lending and Loan Administration teams to deliver excellent client service.
• Conduct Site Visits: Accompany Loan Officers on customer visits and perform site visits related to loan requests.

Qualifications:

• Understanding of financial analysis and risk assessment.
• Experience in loan underwriting or a related field is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance is preferred but not required.
• Ability to gather and analyze information efficiently and formulate an independent recommendation.
