🌿 Estate Planning Legal Assistant | $85K-$105K | Hybrid Schedule | San Francisco 🌿

We're working with a well-established, mid-sized law firm located in downtown San Francisco-known for its exceptional culture and long employee tenure -to find a detail-oriented Estate Planning Legal Assistant to join their Trusts & Estates group. This is a rare hybrid role offering high-quality work, professional growth, and a healthy work-life balance.

📋 What You'll Be Doing:

As a key member of the team, you'll support attorneys and clients through all stages of estate planning and trust administration, including:

  • Drafting and proofreading documents like trusts, wills, powers of attorney, health care directives, deeds, and more

  • Preparing trust admin documents (certifications, asset inventories, beneficiary releases, court petitions)

  • Assisting with real property transfers , including deeds, PCORs, and transfer tax forms

  • Filing federal tax forms (709, 706, 8971) and probate court documents

  • Helping clients navigate the valuation and distribution of estate assets

  • Managing calendaring, scheduling, and prep for meetings and signings

  • Supporting attorneys with legal research, final document execution, and database/document management

  • Coordinating records/conflicts intake and preparing final estate binders for clients

  • Acting as a Notary Public when needed

🎯 What They're Looking For:

  • 3-5 years of experience in estate planning or trust administration

  • Knowledge of California Probate & Trust Law and basic federal tax law

  • Strong skills with court filings (including e-filing), calendaring, and client communication

  • Comfort working in estate planning software and managing client document databases

  • Experience with real estate, corporate law, or family office/legal financial services a plus

  • Must hold current Notary Public credentials
