Treasury Analyst – Hybrid Role with Global P&C Insurance Carrier (New York City)

About the Role:

Our client is seeking a Treasury Analyst to support the integration of global treasury operations and assist with the implementation of a Treasury Management System. This individual will play a key role in optimizing liquidity management, enhancing cash forecasting through automation and AI, and helping establish scalable treasury processes across the enterprise.

What You’ll Do:

• Support the implementation and configuration of a Treasury Management System (TMS)
• Automate short-term cash flow forecasts and identify optimal liquidity targets for insurance and holding entities
• Leverage AI tools within the TMS to enhance forecasting, payment controls, and fraud mitigation
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on ERP and payment system integrations
• Prepare variance analysis reports comparing actual vs. forecasted cash flows
• Support cash and liquidity reporting for senior management and executive stakeholders
• Assist in automating bank fee analysis and optimizing related treasury processes
• Identify and implement workflow improvements to streamline reporting and enhance data integrity
• Provide hands-on support for day-to-day cash management activities

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in a Treasury or Finance function
• Familiarity with treasury technology, digital finance tools, and TMS platforms strongly preferred
• Strong Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, charts); proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, and Visio
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail
• Effective communicator capable of working cross-functionally and managing multiple deadlines
• Experience with banking portals, ERP systems, and reporting automation is a plus
