Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid Work Available)
Salary: $130,000 - 170,000 base
Position Overview:
We are working with a leading real estate investment company with a portfolio valued in the billions. They are seeking an experienced Transactional Real Estate Attorney to join their in-house legal team in McLean, VA . This role will support their real estate acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing transactions across the United States and Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, leases, ground leases, development agreements, loan documents, and related transactional documents
- Conduct legal due diligence, including title and survey review, environmental assessments, and zoning analysis
- Manage outside counsel and coordinate closings across multiple jurisdictions
- Advise internal teams on legal risk and strategy related to commercial real estate assets
- Support ongoing leasing and asset management activities, including amendments, terminations, and estoppels
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Virginia Bar
- 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing
