Job Title: Technical Writer (12 month Contract)
Location: Swedesboro, NJ (Onsite)
Required Industry experience: Food, Beverage, or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG)
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Technical Writer for a 12 month contract role in Swedesboro, NJ.
You will collaborate with various teams, including Production, FSQA, and Sanitation, to develop, maintain, and refine technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food, beverage, or CPG industry and will play a critical role in ensuring that all documentation adheres to industry standards, internal compliance, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across Production , FSQA , Sanitation , and other departments to gather information and ensure accurate and thorough documentation.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) , method books, job aids, and other technical documents using standardized templates.
- Lead documentation review cycles , ensuring proper updates and revisions are made to all materials.
- Post updates to SharePoint and manage EDMS workflows to ensure documents are properly archived, tracked, and accessible.
- Ensure all documentation is compliant with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and internal compliance requirements .
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer within the Food, Beverage , or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
- Strong understanding of cGMP and experience aligning documentation with compliance standards.
- Expertise in developing SOPs , job aids, and method books.
- Familiarity with SharePoint and Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) .
- Excellent written communication skills and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across various teams and departments.
