Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will create an engaging, supportive, and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic, social, and emotional development. This role includes planning instruction, assessing student progress, and collaborating with colleagues and families to support student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver standards-aligned lesson plans that meet curriculum objectives.
• Create a positive, safe, and respectful classroom environment.
• Use differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Assess student learning through assignments, tests, projects, and observations.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of student grades, attendance, and progress.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and classroom updates.
• Incorporate technology and digital tools into daily instruction.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, administrators, and support personnel to improve student learning outcomes.
• Participate in professional development, staff meetings, and school events as required.
• Implement school policies, behavior expectations, and classroom management strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Valid state teaching certification or license (or eligibility to obtain).
• Experience teaching in a classroom or educational setting preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with staff, students, and families.
• Proficiency with instructional technology and learning management systems.
