HHM Talent is assisting a client hire a Tax Manager for their company based in Guild, TN.

This position will have a hybrid schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Corporate & Partnership Tax: Oversee tax strategy for land development and other assets such as restaurants and hospitality venues. Manage tax returns, complex partnership structures, and K-1 filings for investors.
• Individual & Family Tax: Manage tax returns for family members and collaborate with the financial advisor on personal investment tax matters.
• Strategic Planning: Work with leadership to create tax strategies that reduce liabilities and improve tax efficiency for the company and family office.
• Tax Compliance: Ensure all tax returns are filed on time for the company and family, including corporate, individual, partnership, and estate filings.
• Software Management: Manage tax data using Sage and QuickBooks, with plans to transition to a unified system for better tax and financial reporting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• CPA certification is strongly preferred.
• Experience with family office tax matters, including estate planning and investment tax strategy.
• Experience with land development, real estate tax, or similar industries is helpful but not required.
• A background in working directly with financial advisors and estate planning professionals is a plus.
