Job Description

A leading self-perform general contractor with an immediate need for a Project Engineer experienced in water/wastewater and pipeline construction .

This role is focused on the successful closeout of a large-scale infrastructure project currently in its final phases. We’re seeking a candidate who can step into a leadership role, take control quickly, and deliver against high technical and regulatory standards.

About the Role:

• Lead field operations for a large scale pipeline project , currently 80%-90% complete
• Oversee remaining lift and pump station phases , coordinating closely with internal crews and subcontractors
• Maintain full compliance with Bureau of Reclamation and USACE quality standards
• Manage self-perform scopes including earthwork, underground piping, and mechanical work
• Ensure strong communication across all stakeholders and maintain control over cost, safety, and schedule

Ideal Candidate:

• Background in water/wastewater infrastructure and pipeline projects (preferred: federal or public works)
• Strong experience managing self-perform crews and field operations
• Familiar with BoR and USACE requirements and documentation standards
• Able to lead project execution from closeout through final client turnover
• Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable leading under pressure

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary : $90K–$110K (depending on experience)
• Gas card for travel
• Car allowance
• 4% 401(k) match
• Relocation support available for the right candidate
