bout the Role

• Supervises production operations for assigned units or during an assigned shift.
• Supervise workers that build, rebuild/refurbish, and operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality control, and/or package goods for shipment.
• Supervise maintenance and/or other departments when equipment requires maintenance or repair.
• Provide technical assistance when equipment issues arise.
• Build processes and standard operating procedures for new or existing tasks and functions.
• Monitor output of assigned area(s) against established schedules and quality goals.
• Coordinate the flow of work through the department and ensure that the department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately.

What You’ll Bring

• Knowledge of company and team policies, procedures, and practices.
• Leads and directs the work of other employees.
• Supervises Level I and II supervisors and/or leads.
• Has authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions.
• Requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 7 or more years of experience.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Decision-making skills.
• Problem/situation analysis.
• Project management skills.
• Planning skills.

Working Environment and Physical Demands

of this position. To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, you will be required to:

• Communicate with others to exchange information
• Work within a production facility, warehouse, or manufacturing environment
• Work in a noisy environment at various temperatures
• Remain in a stationary position, often standing for prolonged periods
• Move objects (equipment, machinery, and products) up to 50 lbs
• Ascend and descend ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, steps stools and the like
• Perform tasks that require you to bend, stretch, push, pull, carry, and reach

What We Offer

The salary range for this role is 80,000 USD – 90,000 USD; however, Packsize considers several factors when determining compensation when extending a job offer, including but not limited to, the role being offered, the associated responsibilities, the candidate's prior work experience, education/training, and any special skills.
