Summary:

The Procurement Clerk supports purchasing and supply chain operations by processing orders, maintaining records, and coordinating with vendors and internal departments. This role ensures timely and accurate procurement of goods and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and process purchase orders for supplies, equipment, and services
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
  • Communicate with vendors to confirm order details, delivery timelines, and resolve discrepancies
  • Update procurement databases and systems with current order and supplier information
  • Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages or replenishment needs
  • Assist in reviewing invoices and reconciling purchase orders with deliveries
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand purchasing needs and priorities

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree in business or related field preferred
  • 1–2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or administrative support
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
