Job Description

Blueprint Lighting is a small family owned business and a leader in the boutique lighting industry. We manufacture decorative residential and hospitality lighting for the interior design industry. We are looking for a team member with powder coat experience who can work in a busy creative environment along side other team members and departments. This position required someone who is good with their hands and has a good artist touch, who can follow the powder coating process and achieve the same finishes consistently.

Qualifications and Work Experience Required

• We are willing to train the right person who will fit in with our team.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to work on tight schedules to ensure fixtures are shipped on time.
• Ability to work with powder coat, light duty cleaning chemicals
• Experience with light duty tools and sanding is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a small workshop with other 7-8 people.
• Engage in continuous improvement activities such as exposing problems, collecting data to solve problems, and suggesting improvement/upgrade ideas.
• Ability to wear appropriate PPE to include a minimum of safety shoes and safety glasses.
• Demonstrated ownership of equipment, performing regular Autonomous Maintenance including cleaning equipment and work station.
• Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a team-based environment that heavily emphasizes quality, performance, cross-training, customer service and high accountability.

HOURS AND COMPENSATION:

$26-32hr to start based on experience.

Pay increase/benefits/after 90 days. 401k after 12 months.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
