JOB SUMMARY
The People and Camps Logistics Supervisor will oversee the field logistics team, overseeing daily operations across all remote camps located on multiple pads within the Client leased locations. This position will lead teams and manage multiple priorities in remote, high-demand environments while maintaining safety, environmental, and operational standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Is the first call for a wide range of issues or incidents with the ability to direct response as well as document incidents into the proper logs.
- Notify management and follow through with processes.
- Coordinate all water and wastewater logistics across the camps, transport, disposal, and regulatory compliance.
- Supervise daily camp operations, ensuring high standards and consistency for housing, catering, maintenance, and strict compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
- Oversee fuel delivery planning, staging, tracking usage, and ensure reliable supply to maintain continuous field operations.
- Direct deployment, maintenance, and operational readiness of critical infrastructure, including power generation equipment, heaters, light plants, heavy equipment, and light-duty vehicles.
- Lead a multidisciplinary workforce responsible for snow removal, light construction projects, heavy equipment operation, equipment maintenance, material handling, and site logistics.
- Serve as an active member of the Client leadership and Incident Management Teams (IMT), contributing to strategic operations planning and emergency response coordination.
- Actively participate as a member of frontline response teams, including the Medical Emergency Response Team (MERT), Fire & Rescue Team (FRT), and Spill Response Team (SRT), providing immediate response capabilities during incidents across the field.
- Act as a proactive resource and problem-solver for all stakeholders, collaborating across departments to identify solutions, remove barriers, and ensure operational continuity.
- Maintain a calm, professional, and mature demeanor, consistently demonstrating leadership, sound judgment, and effective communication in dynamic environments.
- Support AES zero-incident safety culture and assume personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
- Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years of leadership experience overseeing and coordinating North Slope operations, including camps, rental equipment, facilities, fuel management, and water/waste systems
- Demonstrated knowledge and compliance with Alaska statutes and regulations governing camp and catering operations, fuel and waste transfers, and potable water management
- Strong computer literacy, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint). Must have extensive Excel capabilities
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience working in Arctic and extreme cold-weather environments, with demonstrated adaptability to challenging field conditions
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining composure and effectiveness under pressure
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills, ensuring efficient coordination and resource management
- Proficient in travel coordination and billeting management, including rotational scheduling and logistical planning
