Clinical Magnet (Part of ICON Medical) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our partner’s full-time team in Albuquerque, NM.

This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

Key Responsibilities for the Occupational Therapist:

• Provide clinical occupational therapy evaluation and treatment on acute, restorative, and maintenance levels to participants.
• Assess conditions, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with participants and caregivers.
• Integrate therapy treatment plans into the interdisciplinary team’s Plan of Care (POC).
• Assist with ordering, distribution, and maintenance of durable medical equipment (DME).
• Educate participants and families on proper care, use of support devices, and exercise programs.
• Conduct home visits as needed and document participant progress.
• Participate in staff meetings, patient care conferences, and interdisciplinary team planning.

Key Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OT, MOT, OTD) from an accredited program.
• State OT registration and licensure in New Mexico.
• Valid driver’s license, personal transportation, and auto insurance as required by law.
• Minimum one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of experience in a geriatric setting.
• Prior experience conducting evaluations and treatment plans for senior populations.

Compensation and Schedule for the Occupational Therapist:

• Competitive pay: $37.90 - $50/hr (dependent on experience).
• Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
