Clinical Magnet (Part of ICON Medical) is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our partner’s full-time team in Albuquerque, NM.

This is a DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

Key Responsibilities for the Occupational Therapist:

Provide clinical occupational therapy evaluation and treatment on acute, restorative, and maintenance levels to participants.
Assess conditions, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with participants and caregivers.
Integrate therapy treatment plans into the interdisciplinary team’s Plan of Care (POC).
Assist with ordering, distribution, and maintenance of durable medical equipment (DME).
Educate participants and families on proper care, use of support devices, and exercise programs.
Conduct home visits as needed and document participant progress.
Participate in staff meetings, patient care conferences, and interdisciplinary team planning.

Key Requirements for the Occupational Therapist:

Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (OT, MOT, OTD) from an accredited program.
State OT registration and licensure in New Mexico.
Valid driver’s license, personal transportation, and auto insurance as required by law.
Minimum one year of experience working with the frail or elderly population.

Preferred Qualifications:

Two (2) years of experience in a geriatric setting.
Prior experience conducting evaluations and treatment plans for senior populations.

Compensation and Schedule for the Occupational Therapist:

Competitive pay: $37.90 - $50/hr (dependent on experience).
Full-time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
