Job Description

Are you compassionate, reliable, and passionate about providing care and love to infants? We’re seeking a dedicated Infant/Nursery Teacher to help create a nurturing environment where our youngest learners can thrive.

Pay: Starts at $11/hour with a High School diploma and no prior childcare experience. $13/hour with a CDA. Rates increase with education and experience, up to $19.45/hour.

What You'll Do

  • Provide a safe, loving, and engaging environment for infants in your care.
  • Feed infants (bottles and solid foods as appropriate).
  • Change diapers and maintain clean, hygienic play, sleep, and changing areas.
  • Comfort infants with singing, cuddling, and attentive care.
  • Supervise play and help infants develop motor and social skills.
  • Collaborate with staff, parents, and volunteers to create a supportive community.
  • Observe infants’ medical needs and respond appropriately.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the center.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Prior experience working with infants.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds and sit on the floor for extended periods.
  • Able to pass a fingerprint background check.
