Hiring Now: Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology

Location: Rochester, New York 14621
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Weekly Pay: $2,800 $3,120
Shift: Day/Evening Rotation | 40 Hours Guaranteed

Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse - Interventional Radiology (IR) to provide exceptional care during interventional procedures. This role involves pre-, intra-, and post-procedure patient care, assisting with neurointerventional and other IR procedures, and ensuring patient safety during sedation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients' responses.
• Support neurointerventional and other IR procedures as needed.
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies.
• Collaborate with radiologists, anesthesiologists, and the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families about procedures and post-care instructions.
• Adhere to all facility policies, safety standards, and protocols.
• Floating to other units may be required based on facility needs.

Requirements:

• Active RN license New York State (Required).
• 1-2 years of IR nursing experience (including Neurointerventional procedures).

Certifications Required:

• AHA BLS & ACLS
• Moderate Sedation Certification
• Experience with imaging-guided procedures.
• Strong ability to multitask, communicate, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Travel & Local Considerations:

• Candidates outside a 50-mile radius qualify for travel pay
