Overview

We are searching for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer at our Wilmington, NC facility.

Objective: Modify, design and nest CAD/CAM part files for our custom hollow metal products, as well as production support for quality assurance.

Responsibilities:

• Apply knowledge of products and applications to conform to customer specifications
• Manage the flow of information and documents to create comprehensive work orders and reports
• Utilize CAD/CAM software to create part files for product components
• Tool parts and compile NC code for laser cutting machines and turret punch presses
• Work with engineering team members to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines
• Advanced research and development with product and process improvement teams

Requirements:

• Process orders on tight timetables in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, templates and coded order entry forms
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrated technical aptitude and math skills
• Associates degree in Engineering or equivalent experience a must

Additional qualifications:

• Proficiency with CAD/CAM engineering tools
• Hollow metal frame & door industry experience
• Track record of success in a team environment
• B.S. degree in Engineering preferred
