Job Description
Top Tier Manufacturer is seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician with 5+ years of experience in a machining or metal fabrication environment. This role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of production equipment, including CNC machines, lathes, presses, welding systems, and other metalworking machinery. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical and electrical background and can troubleshoot and repair equipment with minimal downtime.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade school certification preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in machining or metal fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machine systems, PLCs, and industrial automation.
- Familiar with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Proficient in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and precision measuring instruments.
- Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical documents.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
This role will sit ONSITE out of Salisbury, NC facility.
