Maintenance Technician

Full Time

Indianapolis, IN

Compensation DOE: Up to $37/hr.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team working on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems to ensure the efficient operation of our production equipment and facility. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, experience working with industrial machinery, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing as a Maintenance Technician:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair machinery, including motors, pumps, conveyors, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and hydraulic/pneumatic diagrams.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and minimize downtime.
• Install, modify, and upgrade equipment as needed.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.

What you will need as a Maintenance Technician:

• Minimum 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including PLC troubleshooting (preferred).
• Technical degree or certification in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical components (motors, relays, sensors, etc.).
• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic controls, pumps, and valves.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools, welding (a plus), and fabrication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in industrial environments (hot/cold conditions, confined spaces, etc.).
