As Pedigo continues to grow we are looking for a highly capable Machine Shop Supervisor with a passion for excellence, continuous improvement and efficiency who will lead a team of CNC Machine Operators, Saw Operators, and experienced support personnel to efficiently produce parts in a timely manner to support the overall production plan. We are seeking a progressive person with critical thinking and problem-solving skills to oversee and impact these production processes and utilize manufacturing technology to advance our capabilities. The candidate should possess excellent verbal communication abilities and be able to excel in advancing professional relationships within the workplace.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure On-Time Production of Quality Parts
• Schedule workflow according to master production schedule and manage priorities
• Training and Development of department personnel
• Daily communication with other department supervisors to coordinate production
• Measure and Report Production Metrics
• Establish appropriate inspection levels, ensure quality objectives are met and documented
• Develop best practices and standard operating procedures for new parts/processes

Programming and Operation of CNC machines utilizing ESPRIT CAM (TNG) and machine specific controllers

• 3-axis mills (DMG MORI DV5100, Fadal VMC5020A)
• 4-axis lathes (DMG MORI NLX2500/700SY)
• 3-Dimension Wire Forming Machine
• 3-Dimension and 2-Dimension Tube Benders
• CNC Band Saw, CNC Cold Saw
• Setup with vises, fixtures, multiple tool/work offsets, tool selection, analysis of feeds and speeds
• Troubleshooting programs, manipulating code, optimizing program efficiency
• Fixture design for new machined parts and other department needs

Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field preferred, may consider a combination of education and experience
• 2+ yrs in a machining and programming environment, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong PC application skills (Programming and CAD)
• Experience using an ERP system for production planning and work records
• Ability to use Word and Excel for documentation and logging
• Exceptional Leadership, Interpersonal and Written Communication Skills

Compensation Range:

$32 - $45/hr based on qualifications and experience
