Job Description

Vaco has partnered with our client to hire an experienced Legal Administrative Assistant to provide high-level support to attorneys.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Act as a primary support resource for attorneys, understanding their workstyles and priorities
• 
  Manage communication, track deadlines, and follow through on deliverables
• 
  Handle scheduling, time entry, expense reports, and conflict checks
• 
  Draft, format, proofread, and edit legal documents, presentations, and spreadsheets
• 
  Assist with client billing and ensure timely, accurate delivery
• 
  Coordinate meetings, travel, conference calls, and events logistics
• 
  Track continuing legal education (CLE) requirements
• 
  Support business development tasks, including scheduling and file organization
• 
  Provide general office support, including document management, filing, and client reception
• 
  Coordinate deliveries, service of process, and internal communications

Qualifications:

• 
  5+ years legal admin support
• 
  College degree preferred, not required
• 
  Microsoft Office (especially Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Document management systems (e.g., iManage)
• Knowledge of state court filing systems
• 
  Excellent attention to detail and organization
• 
  Strong written and verbal communication skills
• 
  Ability to prioritize and multitask under deadlines
• 
  Professional, discreet, and proactive
• 
  Team player who can also work independently
• 
  Flexible to work occasional overtime
  

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
