Lead Carpenter - Project Manager Needed for a Luxury Residential Remodeling Company in Long Beach, CA.



Roles & Responsibilities

The intent of the Lead Carpenter - Project Manager is to represent the company’s interests and business philosophy to our clients, trade partners, and the general public while delivering the highest production and customer service standards in our marketplace.

To that end, the primary responsibilities of the Lead Carpenter - Project Manager are to help ensure that all assigned projects are completed according to project schedule and budget while maintaining overall client satisfaction. Additionally, the Lead Carpenter - Project Manager is responsible for helping document all work/progress for each project through maintenance of Project Schedules, Change Orders, Material Procurement and Tracking, RFIs, and other project-related communication documents.

Responsibilities

• Set project timelines
• Monitor project deliverables
• Order lead time Materials
• Communicate with the Production Manager, Subcontractors, Laborers, and Clients
• Schedule Inspections
• Control the project budgets and material costs
• Research material installation methods, lead times and compatibility
• Coordinate material deliveries
• Communicate with clients regarding necessary change orders
• Ensure overall client satisfaction by meeting with clients at the job sites
• Manage all warranty issues
• Nurture relationships with the vendors and subcontractors

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Must have experience in project planning and management in the residential luxury remodeling industry
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
• Planning skills
• The ability to continue to learn and improve
• Materials Management and Purchasing experience
• Must have Carpentry Experience in the residential luxury remodeling industry
• Knowledge of trades involved with the residential luxury remodeling industry
• Must be willing and able to work hands on at the project sites
