In this role, you will work with a team of scientists & engineers, using internally developed simulation tools to predict system level performance of novel products and prototypes. Analysis of the simulation results will be used to directly improve product/prototype performance.
Job Responsibilities
- Use simulation tools to model end-to-end performance of display systems
- Report analysis of these simulations to establish specifications for these display systems and ensure a successful product
- Collaborate with the larger research team to explore concepts and drive system performance to create compelling experiences
Top 3 must-have HARD skills:
- camera - image pipeline design
- display - image pipeline design
- tone mapping and gamut mapping
- general background image signal processing or digital signal processing
- experience with optical or distortion correction, color imagery
Good to have skills:
- NOT someone who can tune the image pipeline, but DESIGN
- Understand what they are doing and why they are doing it
- More than just tuning but Theory and Depth
- Seeing projects through end to end
- Systems level engineering
