Job Description
SUMMARY:
Support core human resources functions, including payroll processing, talent acquisition, employee onboarding, benefits administration, and HR compliance as well as serving as a key point of contact for employee inquiries and helps maintain accurate HR records and systems.
What You'll Do:
- Administer bi-weekly payroll and ensure accuracy in timekeeping, deductions, and reporting
- Partner with hiring managers to support full-cycle recruitment: job postings, screening, scheduling, and onboarding
- Maintain HRIS records and employee files in compliance with company policies and regulations
- Serve as a resource for employees regarding HR-related inquiries, benefits, and company policies
- Support new hire orientation and onboarding programs to ensure a seamless employee experience
- Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee communications
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies
- Contribute to HR projects and process improvements as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–5 years of experience in an HR generalist or specialist role
- Hands-on experience with payroll systems and HRIS platforms (e.g., ADP, Paycom, BambooHR, etc.)
- Solid understanding of HR best practices and employment laws
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus
