Must Have:
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Responsibilities:
- Fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensuring compliance with Employment Laws - Employment law, performance management (coaching managers on employee relations issues), administering annual or quarterly revies, , employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, FML, FLSA, Worker's Comp, LOA, STD, LTD benefits administration.
- Collaborate with the HR Director on HR projects.
- Build and recommend programs that will improve the employee experience.
- Manage plant and office recruiting to ensure all facilities remained staffed.
- Other work-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years in HR, Generalist in nature
- At least 2 years as HRM with at least 1-2 direct reports
- Manufacturing or similar background required (No unions required)
- Intermediate in Excel, Word and Outlook
- HRIS exp required
- ATS strongly preferred
- Recent manufacturing exp
- Exposure to all: Perf Mgmt., ER, Safety, OSHA, Employment Law, Workers Comp, STD, LTD
- Resilient, someone who knows how to work with autonomy but can manage up as needed
- Strong communicator
