Job Title: Graphic Designer – Visual Communications & Multimedia

Location: Remote, MI

Duration: 6+ Months ( Possible Extension)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Graphic Designer to join our team. This role is responsible for developing visually engaging, original artwork across a variety of channels and formats to drive audience engagement, enhance brand trust, and support business objectives. The ideal candidate possesses strong design fundamentals, advanced multimedia capabilities—including photography and video editing—and a deep understanding of how to translate complex, technical information into effective visual communications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce high-quality visual content across multi-channel campaigns including:
• Static and HTML5 digital ads
• Out-of-home (OOH) advertisements
• Email marketing
• Web and social media graphics
• Print collateral, direct mail, and infographics
• Collaborate with stakeholders to conceptualize and deliver design solutions that meet project objectives and audience needs.
• Take ownership of assigned products or subject areas, gaining in-depth knowledge of customer problems and translating them into creative visual experiences.
• Support visual strategy development with suggestions grounded in design best practices, performance data, and brand guidelines.
• Edit and produce multimedia content including photos and video, using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Interpret and translate technical material—especially related to Gas Operations —into accessible and effective visual designs.
• Integrate MGSS (Material Group Standard Specification) requirements into creative work where applicable.
• Conduct research to identify the best technological platforms or tools for design and development of web-oriented or project-specific assets.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in graphic design, multimedia, or a related field.
• Technical education/background in visual communications or graphic design.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro) and Microsoft Office Suite .
• Strong understanding of graphic design principles with a keen eye for detail.
• Experience with photography and video editing .
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt design style across different mediums and formats.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with Gas Operations or other industrial/technical fields.
• Ability to interpret and incorporate MGSS specifications into creative design.
• Comfort with complex, technical visual content and regulatory communications.
• Familiarity with web-based tools and platforms (e.g., HTML5, CMS, interactive media).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially when working with cross-functional teams.
