Job Title: Kitchen Production Manager

Reports to: Kitchen General Manager

FLSA Status: Exempt

Job Purpose:

The Kitchen Production Manager ensures that products and services meet quality standards, legal compliance, and customer expectations. This role oversees daily kitchen operations, enforces quality and safety standards, and coordinates production activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations in the kitchen department.
• Communicate effectively via email regarding production matters.
• Plan and implement a daily production schedule, ensuring timely completion.
• Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation standards.
• Monitor and enforce plant quality standards and HACCP programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Increase awareness and evaluation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Ensure high levels of customer service through efficient order processing.
• Enforce company policies and procedures to maintain service quality.
• Assign duties, schedule shifts, and conduct periodic evaluations for staff.
• Support warehouse operations and enforce company policies.
• Address customer concerns and discrepancies to promote good relations.
• Foster a positive work environment and promote team-building.
• Work closely with staff to maintain quality and productivity requirements.
• Adapt to flexible work schedules as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Minimum Requirements:

• HACCP Certification
• Strong communication skills with the ability to implement and supervise warehouse programs.
• High level of computer proficiency, including warehouse management systems.
• Some college education preferred or equivalent warehouse supervision experience.

Education and Experience:

• Some college management education and/or 5 years of supervisory experience in food processing.

Computer Skills:

• Strong proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and warehouse management systems.

Reasoning Ability:

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a diverse workforce.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Extended periods of sitting at a computer.

Work Environment:

• Work in a distribution center environment with varying temperatures.
