We are hiring two Special Education Teachers to work in our Extended School Year (ESY) program supporting students in Kindergarten and 1st Grade. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the summer and continue supporting student growth in a focused, small-group setting.

Location: Westwood, MA

Dates: June 27, 2025 – August 1, 2025

Program Schedule: Half-day sessions, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM (6/30–8/1)

About the Program:

Our ESY program is designed to maintain academic, social-emotional, and communication skills for students identified for extended-year services. We offer a supportive team environment and a structured curriculum focused on:

• Reading and Math Support
• Social-Emotional Learning (SEL)
• Communication Skill Development

Student Groups:

• Kindergarten Class: Students with a variety of learning needs including reading, math, SEL, and communication.
• 1st Grade Class: Similar support needs; potential for one class to serve as an Autism Support Class.

Qualifications:

• Valid MA Special Education Teacher Certification
• Experience working with students in early elementary (K–1st)
• Experience with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is preferred
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Schedule:

• June 27, 2025: Staff orientation and classroom setup
• June 30 – August 1, 2025: Instructional days (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM)
