Position Overview: The RF Electronics Technician is responsible for building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying electronic developmental and production components, devices, and systems in accordance with Avidity Science specifications and quality standards.

Location: Waterford, WI

Job Type: Full-time

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Build, test and repair electronic products for manufacturing and customer orders per drawings and specifications.
• Adjust product RF signals to optimal frequencies using spectrum analyzer
• Test, troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies to the component level.
• Operate test equipment including oscilloscopes, frequency counters, multimeters, LCR meters, spectrum analyzers, and variable power supplies.
• Adjust and replace defective or improperly functioning circuitry and electronics components, using hand tools and soldering iron.
• Repair or modify cables and equipment returned by operational users or by personnel in the associated test and development areas.
• Recommend changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance.
• Implement updates to firmware and software.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data.
• Review, update, and make recommendations for work instructions and procedures.

What You Bring to the Table:

• 3 - 5 years experience in building, repairing, and calibrating small application-specific micro-processors-controlled devices.
• Background in RF technology and ability to diagnose PCB boards down to the component level.
• Proficiency in inductive coupling frequency high Q tuning
• High School Diploma or equivalent, formal training/ classes in Electronics is strongly preferred.
