Director of Quality - Manufacturing

Decades old U.S. publicly-traded manufacturer needs a Director of Quality. In this role, you will:

• Own Quality for a site that works a 4/10 schedule and produces 1 million non-lethal finished goods per year across several SKUs for all branches of the US military and NATO countries;
• Manage at team of 3 direct reports (Quality Manager, Quality Systems Auditing Lead, Configuration Management Lead) and 22-25 indirect reports (4 Quality Engineers, Incoming Inspection, Production / Process Inspectors);
• Use data to get to root cause thereby freeing the organization to build and deliver more of these mission critical, life saving products;
• Achieve ISO9001 re-certification

Requirements:

• BS (Math, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering)
• 10 year + of ISO9001 Quality Systems and Quality organization leadership experience
• Implemented Statistical Process Control
• Proficiency with Process Capability studies
• Track record of accomplishments
• Hands-on
• "Can do" attitude
• US Citizen
