Job Description

The Director of Demand Planning will lead the development, management, and execution of all demand planning and forecasting activities across the organization. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep analytical skills and a collaborative mindset to drive consensus and accuracy in forecasting, ensuring product availability and optimizing inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the global demand planning process to produce accurate forecasts at multiple levels (SKU, product line, region, etc.).

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to gather input and align forecasts.

• Develop and manage forecasting models using historical data, market trends, and statistical tools.

• Identify demand trends, risks, and opportunities to proactively manage supply chain decisions.

• Implement best practices and tools to improve forecast accuracy and efficiency.

• Provide leadership, coaching, and development for the demand planning team.

• Present key planning metrics and insights to senior leadership.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the S&OP process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Statistics, or related field (Master's preferred).

• 10+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

• Proven experience with demand planning software (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, Kinaxis, etc.).

• Strong analytical skills with a deep understanding of statistical forecasting methods.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in a fast-paced, global organization preferred.
