Job Description
Our Boston based publishing client is looking for a Copywriter with 2+ years' for an immediate 6+ month contract that is 10-20 hours a week. The Copywriter will be working primarily on newsletters, online content, and book covers but also cover other projects like emails, presentations and sales enablement tools. Proficiency with Chicago style is a bonus and this role will be a mix of editing and writing.
Overview:
- Edit and write for projects including books covers, emails, landing pages, websites etc....
- General knowledge of book design and formatting, including theory and good practice
- Some familiarity with the Chicago Manual of Style preferred
- Ability to handle multiple projects with changing and sometimes overlapping priorities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Prior education or experience in communications, publishing, or another related field
- Portfolio showing samples of previous work
