The Construction Supervisor II role is centered around a 78 MW solar farm project located in Hobbs, New Mexico. This position is primarily responsible for high voltage commissioning inspection within the substation, ensuring the proper integration of solar-generated electricity into the grid.

Responsibilities:

• High voltage commissioning inspection within the substation, ensuring the proper integration of solar-generated electricity into the grid.
• Monitor and inspection of the installation of substation equipment such as transformers

Requirements:

• 5-7 years of experience with a strong background with high voltage electrical systems.
• A formal degree is not required.
• Those with a journeyman or electrician – highly preferred
• Experience with commissioning, especially on solar or wind projects
• Valid drives’ license is required.
• Strong interpersonal skills are essential, as the role involves daily interaction with contractors, inspectors, and project managers on-site.
• Communication is key—both in conveying technical information clearly and in coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met.

Working Conditions/Other Information

• Standard PPE required.
• 100% in the field
• Working hours 6:30-7 am to 5 pm – Some Saturdays required.
• Site vehicle to be provided.
