Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled CAD Drafter to join our growing telecommunications team. This role involves preparing accurate technical drawings and site layouts for wireless infrastructure projects, including towers, rooftop installations, antenna mounts, and equipment platforms. The ideal candidate will have experience working in telecom or utility environments and a solid understanding of engineering standards and drafting practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed CAD drawings and construction documents for wireless communication sites, including tower layouts, antenna mounts, equipment platforms, and cable routing.
• Interpret and translate engineering sketches, survey data, and structural reports into technical drawings.
• Update and revise existing telecom site plans and as-built drawings based on field redlines and engineer feedback.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, client specifications, and permitting requirements.
• Collaborate closely with structural engineers, project managers, and field technicians to ensure accuracy and completeness of designs.
• Maintain file organization and version control according to company protocols.
• Assist in the preparation of construction packages, including title sheets, legends, and notes.
• Perform quality checks to ensure technical accuracy and consistency across drawing sets.
