Job Description

Vaco Indianapolis is seeking a CAD Designer for a full-time opportunity located on the west side of Indianapolis. This role will be responsible for developing and improving custom packaging solutions for their customers' requests. Looking for a creative and detail-oriented CAD Designer with experience in 2D and 3D CAD design, preferably with experience in the packaging industry. The ideal candidate is highly organized, able to work independently, and collaborates effectively with internal teams to bring original packaging designs to the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD designs for packaging solutions.
• Develop technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing.
• Collaborate with various departments to refine customer requirements.
• Ensure all designs meet industry standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain organized design files and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Proficiency in CAD software (ArtiosCAD, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar).
• Experience in packaging design, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to interpret customer requirements and translate them into working designs.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
