We are seeking a skilled and passionate Baker to join our team at Ron's Original Bar & Grille. As a Baker, you will play an essential role in creating and producing high-quality baked goods, including breads, cakes, pastries, and gluten-free desserts. You will be responsible for crafting delicious products that delight our guests while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, and creativity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, bake, and present a variety of baked goods such as bread, cakes, pastries, cookies, and other desserts.
• Develop and execute gluten-free recipes to meet dietary needs without compromising taste or texture.
• Ensure that all baked items meet restaurant standards for presentation and taste.
• Follow recipes, measure ingredients, and use baking techniques to produce consistent and high-quality products.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of fresh baked goods for service.
• Stay current with baking trends, techniques, and new product ideas, particularly in gluten-free baking.
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished products to maintain freshness.
• Take responsibility for daily production planning and scheduling, adjusting for special events, holidays, or customer demands.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Baker, preferably in a restaurant or bakery setting.
• Strong knowledge and experience in gluten-free baking techniques and ingredients.
• Familiarity with traditional and modern baking methods for breads, cakes, pastries, and desserts.
• Creative mindset with a passion for creating innovative and high-quality baked goods.
• Ability to follow recipes with precision and adjust for varying conditions or special dietary needs.
• Solid understanding of kitchen hygiene, food safety, and sanitation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time effectively.
• Ability to work early morning or late-night shifts, as required.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cake decorating, bread baking and menu planning.
• Knowledge of vegan or other dietary specialty baking.
• Culinary or baking certification.
