A Private Equity firm in Los Angeles is looking to expand at the Associate/Senior Associate level this summer. With senior leadership coming from top bucket backgrounds, this opportunity lends the Private Equity Associate/ Senior Associate incredible mentorship opportunities as well.
Private Equity Associate Responsibilities:
- Help drive all stages of the investment process, including sourcing, diligence, structuring, and portfolio management.
- Collaborate closely with the senior leadership team members to analyze and execute transactions.
- Develop and maintain industry relationships to generate proprietary deal flow
- Help lead deal-related analysis, financial modeling, and presentations for investment committee review.
Private Equity Associate Qualifications:
- Top-tier college degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting is preferred
- 2 years of investment banking, with 1-2 years in private equity experience
- Superior modeling, problem-solving, analytical, and research skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to interact thoughtfully with portfolio company management teams
- Ability to work independently, multi-task, and meet demanding deadlines
- Ties to California (specifically Los Angeles)
