About the Position:
The Sales Representative plays a crucial role in supporting business growth. Reporting directly to the Sales Manager and the Vice President, this position is responsible for networking with contractors and farmers to educate them on the benefits of using Springfield Plastics pipe to fulfill their drainage needs. The agricultural sales representative’s time will include increasing market share in their territory as well as maintaining existing customer relationships. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an agricultural insider to grow professionally and financially with ongoing training and support as a part of a well-established company deeply rooted in the Midwest community.

Experience:
Qualified individuals will have a minimum of 5+ years of professional agricultural experience in a sales or technical function within the rural farming industry. Experience in a growing company with 60+ employees is highly desirable. Significant experience developing long-term customer relationships and securing new client accounts is required. The successful candidate should have significant understanding and application of longer sales planning practices. Advanced skills in demonstrating value and promoting high-end quality products are essential for this role. The qualified candidate will be proficient with Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and effective smartphone communications. This position requires an individual with outstanding customer focus, the ability to achieve goals, strong interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage time and priorities. A valid driver’s license is required.
